• Description: Hanna is a famous Korean singer who suffers from extremely poor self-esteem, as she has been ignored because of her appearance. At last, she makes the decision of a lifetime to have full-body plastic surgery.

The literal translation of the Korean title for the film is “Being Beautiful is Agonizing”, which I think is actually a more accurate title that portrays the movie well. You’ll see what I mean when you watch it!

This movie was a huge hit, breaking even “My Sassy Gal’s” records when it opened in Korea. However, I have noticed that in a lot of movie forums, it does get slagged off quite a bit by viewers outside of Asia for “promoting” plastic surgery.

I don’t want to ruin the story for you, but after watching it, I think this issue really can be argued either way. Let me know what you think! Enjoy
