My friend Daniel has been asking me to watch this movie for the longest time. As far as I can gather, it’s about a boy who is a complete jerk to his poor self-sacrificing grandmother who goes through great lengths to make him happy. Because of that, I can’t watch this. I don’t want to go around choking little kids after watching such a horrific movie, so I won’t. I hear it’s good though. Very good in fact. Won awards and that. But sad. I don’t do sad. It makes me depressed and I have to sit around all day taking pills and staring into those bright lamps that depressed people have. You know, the ones that cost a lot of money and don’t really do anything, don’t even give you a mild tan. Those ones.
Luckily, the movie ends all happy like. I guess the DVD cover does kind of give it away. The kid is kind of cute as well. Another reason why I can’t watch it. The last thing you want to do is hate a cute kid. At least with ugly ones you can’t really help it.
ANYHOO, this movie stars Kim Eul-boon as the Grandmother and Yu Seung-ho as Sang-woo, the wee kid. The kid is your regular child actor, but the grandmother is something else! In real life, she is actually a non-actress who has never even watched a movie in her entire life. Pretty crazy eh? She was handpicked by the director after they reached the little rural village they were shooting in and saw her walking past them by chance. The director thought she was perfect, and when the movie was released she had to move out of her house in the tiny village (where they shot the movie) she spent her entire life in so she could escape from all the adoring fans that tracked her down. Her granddaughter said she really didn’t care for all that attention. I hope she at least made some good money out of it though!!
So, I guess I will watch it, eventually. Coz that’s kinda cool. THE END!! -by Hobbes-

Both really good movies!! Well… essentially both the same movie, but then again, somehow different. While loyalty will always adhere to the original movie - especially one with such a unique plot, remakes are always going to strive for something additional that the original lacked and really, it just boils down to which version you happened to see first and… uh… language… actors and stuff… you know. Sortoffing… ish.
SO ANYWAY, I actually haven’t watched either version and it’s just way too much research for me to go through to write out a pretend review x_X
Go watch it yourself and I shall write a real one when I have time to watch both. Until then, as always… ENJOY!!! XD
Il Mare (2000)

-
- Starring: Jeon Ji-Hyun, Jung-Jae Lee
- Description: Han Seong Hyun (Lee Jung Jae, from Typhoon and Last Present), is an accomplished architect who moves into his father’s beach house, only to find himself put in the most extraordinary of circumstances. After dubbing the place “Il Mare” (”The Sea” in Italian), Seong Hyun receives a mysterious letter from a woman named Kim Eun Joo (Jeon Ji Hyun). Strangely, the letter is addressed to the person who will live in Il Mare after Eun Joo leaves, a puzzling statement considering the fact that Seong Hyun is the very first person to ever live in the house!Believing it to be some sort of a prank or perhaps just a misunderstanding, Seong Hyun initially disregards the anomaly, only to find himself drawn into correspondence with Eun Joo. But as the two begin conversing through exchanged letters, they eventually discover that their situation is as remarkable as it is downright unbelievable. It seems that Eun Joo is actually living in 1999, a full two years ahead of the time in which Seong Hyun resides! Can love cross the boundary of time?

Hmm… short. But pretty much the same as the former

Hi Everyone!
I was sitting around, minding my own business, as you do, and realized that I haven’t watched the second season of Heroes! So after a lot of searching, I found some links of high quality, fast loading, streaming videos of the second season.
If this is what you’re looking for, do enjoy it, and let me know if there’s anything else you want to watch!
